Alice:I...*thinks: This is something I would have done on my own, once upon a time...but I just can't do it now. Yes. I would like that very much. *smiles weakly*

Sam: *Smiles* Mkay. I don't have a car, though. How'll we get there?

Alice: I think I ca--*while she is speaking she concentrates very hard on Rory and the club* *they are suddenly at the club*--n get us there. *looks around* Wow. I've..never done that before. It's a lot...a lot like what Rory does...isn't it? *bites lip again* Well...never mind that. Let's get close to the stage...

Rory: Okay, so I think we have this first song down, right?
Hannah: *nods* Man... those spiders sure did their toll.
Rory: Bah, I'm feeling good and looking good. Not too different. Just gotta work out for a week and I'll be back to normal.
Hannah: *Laughs* Same ol' Rory.
Rory: What's that supposed to mean?
Hannah: Just since your friends came... I mean... I dunno...
Rory: *Hugs Hannah* I'm sorry girly. I know what you mean. I'm sorry you feel left out. *Turns around and goes back to the microphone* By the way, I'm getting married. *Grins*
Hannah: *Eyes widen* To who?!
Rory: Jennica Ruth Smeckles.
Hannah: How's she look?
Rory: Not everything is about looks.
Hannah: How's she look?
Rory: *Swallows* Fine, fine.
Hannah: You're lying.
Rory: I'm just worried... I mean... heart disease. That stuff.
Hannah: It'll be fine.
Rory: You don't know that.

Alice: D'you think they'd let us back stage? I...I want to talk to Rory. Before the show. Because I don't think I'll see her again after this...

Rory: Being attracted to someone isn't everything.
Hannah: *Blinks* You're not attracted to her?!
Rory: She must've drank a lot of the stuff... but I'm more worried. I am... I...
Hannah: How bad is it?
Rory: How bad is what?
Hannah: You know *Blinks at Rory*
Rory: That! It doesn't matter.
Hannah: Listen, I'm the only girl you can talk about this stuff to, so go ahead, talk.

Alice:*realizes she's talking to herself and sam's letting her do her own thing* I...I guess I'll go back there. I...I want to do it myself. So...I'll be back, I guess. *goes back stage and sees Rory with Hannah* ...Hi. *in choked voice*

Rory: *Turns around and walks away*
Hannah: *Grabs Rory by the back of her shirt collar* Don't.
Rory: Let go of me. *Growls and pulls away from her*
Hannah: Rory, get back here!
Rory: *Turns around* Alice never fucking loved me and she never will. *Sneers* She's probably just here to rub it in my face. *Stalks away, turning left into the hallway and collapsing onto the wall, sliding down it and then falling towards the right away from the turn into the stage* Oh God...

Alice: *watches the exchange and bites lip trying not to cry again* Rory. *comes out in a whisper. Trys again* Rory. *says in normal voice, loud enough for Rory to hear the quiver in her voice*

Rory: *Cries into the crick in her legs, ignoring Alice's calls* That's all she's here for... I killed her brother... she burned my house down... she never cared about me... even then... even before all that... course how could someone love a devil child freak?!

Alice: Rory, please.

Hannah: *Walks to Rory and nudges her with her foot* Hey.
Rory: *Glares up at Hannah with tears in her eyes* Leave me the fuck alone.
Hannah: And what if I won't?
Rory: *Stands up and walks into her dressing room*
Hannah: Rory...
Rory: I SAID LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE! *slams the door in Hannah's face*
Hannah: Yeah... ain't gettin' to that chick now.

Alice;*slides to the floor, hands over her eyes* No no no NO. This wasn't supposed to happen like this. Not again. *Bites her lip to hold back the sobs, but the tears flow anyway*

Hannah: *Bangs her fist on Rory's door* LET ME IN!
Rory: NO! *Bawls, choking that one word out. She sits in the fetal position on her couch, just staring at the door. She closes her eyes, blinking back the tears and remembers that night so well*

Alice:*rocking herself back and forth, her eyes squeezed shut and her hands now over her ears* Nonononono....please no. I don't want to...I don't want to remember...no...oh god, please no...It hurts...stop...*memory of the night when it all happened floods back, and no matter how Alice pleads, she can't stop it*

Sam: *Hears the pounding and screaming from backstage. With his long lanky legs he climbs the stairs and enters the backstage* Hannah, what's wrong?
Hannah: OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR! *Pounds her fist* Trying to get Rory to open the door.
Sam: What happened?
Hannah: Alice showed up... now this poor girl... after everything that girl said to my lil' sis. *Shakes head*
Sam: *Raises eyebrows* What about what Rory did to Alice?
Hannah: Hey, dude, lighten up. First of all, Rory's the victim here.
Sam: Have you not heard what's been happening?! Alice is too. So maybe they're both to blame, maybe they're both the victims.
Hannah: Fine. Go ahead... believe that... but I saw how Al treated my girl and what pain she ended up bringin' my sis.

Rory drifts back into dreamland as she starts to remember everything.

Rory: What do you mean 'how could you?' Alice! This was my fault! You even admitted it. *Her head is in her hands as she sits on the couch, crying*

Alice: *winces as she hears sam being dragged into the fight*I don't want to remember....*moans, but lapses into memory*

Alice: How could you do this to me, Rory? How could you?! Why would you....*shakes head, trying to clear it*
